Special Edition: Nations United Against Israel

The United Nations General Assembly debate for 2026 was held this week. It turned into a vitriolic attack on Israel, once again. This is what we expect, as Bible prophecy predicts a time when “all nations” will turn against Israel.

“For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.” (Zechariah 14:2–3)

As world leader after world leader took the podium at the United Nations, a common theme emerged.

The Tirade Against Israel

The tirade against Israel began with the United Nations Secretary-General’s vitriolic speech, much of which was focused on Israel:

Amid the turmoil engulfing the region, we must not lose sight of the devastating situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

It is nearly three years since the abhorrent terror attacks by Hamas on 7 October.

What followed was an onslaught on Palestinians in Gaza, with a scale of killing and destruction unlike anything I have witnessed in all my years as Secretary-General…

Violence, displacement and settlement expansion by Israel in the Occupied West Bank are bulldozing the path to peace and raising the spectre of ethnic cleansing.

We cannot allow the two-State solution to disappear before our eyes.

This statement is ridiculous. Since Guterres has been Secretary-General of the UN, the conflict in Sudan has seen 190,000 killed (383,000 in total since 2013); the war in Ukraine is estimated to have caused 600,000 deaths; the Syrian civil war is which began in 2011 is estimated to have caused 656,000 deaths, the war in Ethiopia has seen up to 600,000 deaths, the Yemen civil war 377,000 deaths, Nigeria-Boko Haram 350,000 deaths, Afghanistan 176,000, Myanmar coup and civil war 100,000 deaths, with other smaller conflicts adding to this.

The number given for the Israeli-Hamas Gaza war stands at 73,800 (which includes all the terrorists).

To state “an onslaught on Palestinians in Gaza, with a scale of killing and destruction unlike anything I have witnessed in all my years as Secretary-General” is a blatant lie.  If the head of the United Nations is clearly lying — it is no wonder the other nations would follow suit.

Spain’s President accused Israel of genocide, stating his country was: (READ)

…imposing an arms embargo on the Netanyahu government in Israel, and prohibiting the use of our territory to deploy an aggression that was against international law, and unequivocally condemning the genocide that Netanyahu is still perpetrating in Gaza.

Brazil’s President also accused Israel of genocide:

Generations of Palestinians will carry the pain and trauma left by the genocide of women and children perpetrated by Netanyahu’s government in Gaza.

The Emir of Qatar joined the chorus accusing Israel of genocide:

There can be no talk of a just international order, as long as Palestine remains a blind spot within it. What has transpired in Gaza is genocide in every sense of the word and the stain of shame on the conscience of humanity as a whole....

The continued persecution, apartheid and settler terrorism in the occupied West Bank, the desecration of Islamic and Christian holy sites, foremost among them the blessed Al-Aqsa mosque. Denying the Palestinian people their rights, most notably their inalienable rights to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital. All this remains an open wound. Israeli aggression, marked by arrogance and hubris, has expanded to encompass neighbouring countries, affecting the security of the region as a whole.

Israel continues its blatant attacks against Syria and is occupied, occupying more Syrian territories and adding them to the Golan Heights, which it has occupied since 1967 …

The South African Minister for International Relations likewise accused Israel of genocide, stating the following:

Nowhere is the need to uphold our shared humanity more urgent than in Palestine. The rights and dignity and humanity of the Palestinians cannot be treated as conditional.

The state of Israel continued violation of international and humanitarian law constitute genocide, and we remain steadfast in our view that international community must act decisively to end this impunity.

In our support of a just and lasting peace and a two-state solution in accordance with the UN resolution, South Africa is unwavering.

Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs struck a similar note: 

The continued suffering of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and the targeting of civilians by Israeli occupation, the obstruction of humanitarian assistance, attempts at forced displacement and the continued expansion of illegal settlements all constitute serious violations of international law and international humanitarian law.

The kingdom rejects any attempts at forced displacement or changing the status quo of the Palestinian territories.

We stress that a just and lasting peace can only be achieved through the implementation of the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Similar issues are again highlighted — settler violence, displacement and a return to the indefensible 1967 borders.

Oman joined the offensive, which is not surprising, as it did not support Israel’s right to defend itself from Iran:

The Sultanate of Oman reaffirms its firm rejection of the ongoing Israeli attacks against numerous Arab states.

We also express our condemnation of the crimes of the Israeli occupation and its increasing violations against the Palestinian people which have compounded the suffering of the Palestinian people in its struggle to obtain its legitimate rights and liberate its land within the borders of June 4th, 1967.

Malaysia, long hostile to Israel, echoed the same tone:

We all know the scale of death in Gaza We know how many children, families, medics, aid workers and journalists have been slaughtered. We also know that Gaza represents the highest number of children made orphans in a single conflict.

Malaysia and many other member states have exhausted, and made every effort in pursuit of justice for Gaza. We have consistently called for an immediate ceasefire and unrestricted supply of aid. We have supported humanitarian work in Palestine.

We have pushed for punitive actions towards Israel, and we have advocated for full Palestinian membership in this hall.

Even the tiny nation of Brunei, which sits on the Island of Borneo located between Australia and Asia waged in on the conflict in the Middle East:

 For generations, the Palestinian people have waited for justice, statehood and dignity. They cannot be asked to wait indefinitely for rights that are already theirs.

In Gaza, the scale of human suffering and destruction is intolerable. Civilians, including far too many children continue to bear the heaviest costs. Medics, journalists, humanitarian workers and United Nations personnel have also lost their lives while carrying out their duties. This suffering cannot become normal.

In the West Bank, Palestinians continue to endure occupation, expanding illegal settlements, settler violence and displacement from their homes and land within Gaza or the West Bank. These are not merely numbers, they are human lives, and their suffering exposes a fundamental truth. International law and the principles of the charter must apply equally to everyone. There cannot be one standard for some and another for others a just and lasting peace, therefore, requires more than managing the consequences of conflict.

It requires addressing its root cause and realizing the Palestinian people's legitimate right to self-determination and an independent state of Palestine, based on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital. Without justice for the Palestinian people, there can be no lasting peace.

Nation after nation is spending their time at the Podium of the United Nations to attack Israel, the only Jewish state on the planet.

The Blood Libel of Settler Violence

The latest ‘blood libel’ against Israel is the accusation of “settler violence”. This has been a theme of many of the World Leaders' speeches, beginning with the Secretary-General.

The publication TabletMag ran an article entitled “the Settler Violence Myth” where it exposed the shallowness of these accusations. The Article stated:

The United Nations’ Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) maintains an online database of incidents involving settler violence. The database is based on an updated Excel sheet that is not publicly available on the site, but was obtained by Regavim.

Incidentally, Regavim is a public movement dedicated to the protection of Israel’s national lands and resources. The article continues:

The Excel sheet “includes 8,332 ‘incidents involving Israeli settlers and other Israeli civilians’ that occurred in the West Bank or Israel (not in Gaza) between January 11, 2016, and April 30, 2023.” [a period over seven years]

The description creates the impression that there were 8,332 incidents of settler violence in that period, when in fact, 2,047 of those incidents involve settlers as victims of violence—although this number, too, is misleading, as it is nowhere near the number of Palestinian attacks on Jews in Judea and Samaria.

Of the remaining 6,285 incidents, about 20 percent did not take place in Judea and Samaria and are therefore, strictly speaking, not “settler” violence. In fact, many of them also have nothing to do with violence of any sort. For example, OCHA counts any Jewish pilgrimage to the Temple Mount, no matter how peaceful, as “settler violence.”

It also classifies as settler violence clashes between Israeli security forces and rioting Muslims on the Mount, even when no Israeli civilians are involved. Also listed as violence are “tourists visiting archaeological sites, infrastructure work carried out legally by the State of Israel itself, traffic accidents,” and other common activities that in no way can be categorized as “settler” related or “violent.” For instance, 1,613 cases (about 19% of the total) include “general complaints such as ‘trespassing’ that refer to the presence of Israeli tourists and hikers, which did not include assault or damage to property or individuals.” A further 2,039 (24%) mention no injury to persons.

“After filtering out thousands of irrelevant cases,” the report says, “only 833 incidents remain over a seven-and-a-half-year period—a mere 10 percent of the original list.”

There are further grounds for skepticism. Since 404 cases (48%) [of these cases] simply cite “involvement in clashes,” it is impossible to determine which side initiated the violence. Moreover, in 117 cases, the perpetrators are listed as “security forces,” not settlers, while another 59 cite “security forces and settler civilians.” Other cases are flat-out misclassified. On closer reading, the report says “at least 96 additional incidents were identified where complainants noted they were harmed by security forces,” not by settlers.

Most alarming about the data compilation is that Palestinian terrorists killed in self-defense by armed civilians while carrying out attacks on Jews are also counted as victims of settler violence.

This leaves a total of 157 cases over 7.5 years or 21 cases per year.

During the period of only two years (not the 7.5 cited by the UN), the Regavim report states the following:

Shin Bet data from around the same time that counts 6,068 cases of serious Palestinian terrorism in 2020 through 2022, which notes only attacks that result in serious injuries and death. The IDF includes less serious cases and has the number at 20,582.

That is 10,291 cases per year. “Settler violence” represents .002% of the cases of violence against Israelis.

So why is this such an issue?

The settlement of Judea and Samaria is identified by the Bible as one of the key causes for the invasion in the Middle East. It is spoken of by the prophets Joel, Zechariah and Ezekiel.

Ezekiel states:

“After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.” (Ezekiel 38:8–9)

The focus of the nations is on the “mountains of Israel” (Judea and Samaria, called by the world “the occupied territories”), and by the people who have come out of the nations and dwell there.

Joel reiterates that the timing of the invasion lines up with the return of the Jews to Jerusalem and Judea:

“For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.” (Joel 3:1–2)

It is the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem – i.e. Jews returning Judea and Samaria. The name “Jew” literally comes from “Judea” where the Jews lived before being dispersed by the Romans two thousand years ago.

The fact that Israelis are “settled” in the area of Judea and Samaria, or “the mountains of Israel,” is actually God’s doing.  He claims this himself in Ezekiel:

“But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come. For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown: And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded: And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of men.” (Ezekiel 36:8–12)

The World’s Protests God’s Work

So as World leaders take to the podium of the UN, they are protesting the work of Almighty God in the land of Israel.

Ireland’s Prime Minister stated:

More countries have recognised the state of Palestine, and overwhelming majority of UN member states has endorsed the New York Declaration. More of us have taken steps to push back against the illegal and violent settler occupation of Palestinian land in the West Bank. But time is running out. What we are witnessing on the ground is a deliberate attempt by some to make the prospect of a two-state solution impossible….

Illegal development in East Jerusalem and the situation in Gaza remains an affront to all that is decent….

In the West Bank. the relentless expansion of settlements have reached a scale without precedent, further eroding, eroding the prospects for a just and lasting peace.

Violent settlers continue to act with near-total impunity, while Palestinian communities face a sustained campaign of displacement and destruction amounting to ethnic cleansing. Entire villages have been razed, homes and vital infrastructure demolished, and thousands of Palestinian families driven from the places they have called home for generations and exposed to intimidation and violence.

The United Nations reports that this year there have been almost 200 attacks against Palestinians every month, a stark reminder of a reality that is deepening conflict, suffering and despair. The International Court of Justice has been clear. Settlements in occupied Palestinian territory are illegal. Ireland has acted alongside others to prohibit the import of settlement goods. It is never too late to uphold international law…

Israel must withdraw its military presence from southern Lebanon and bring an end to its military operations there.

Israel's response has been wholly disproportionate.

The crimes of these settlers are planting vineyards, growing vegetables, planting date trees and raising sheep like King David did so many years ago. This is what the prophets talk about:

“And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.” (Micah 4:3–4)

Australia’s Prime Minister targeted the “illegal settlements” in the West Bank (Judea and Samaria):

Last year, Australia took the considered decision to join other partners and recognise the state of Palestine. It was motivated by the determination to try and end a cycle of violence that has stolen too many innocent lives.

We know the only viable path to peace and security in Palestine, in Israel and in the broader Middle East is through a two- state solution where the people of Israel and the people of Palestine can raise their children in freedom and safety.

We will continue to speak out against actions that damage that prospect of peace, including illegal settlements in the West Bank.

The Crown Prince of Kuwait called for a return to the indefensible 1967 borders:

The State of Kuwait reiterates its principled and firm position, condemning the ongoing violations by the Israeli occupation forces against the brotherly Palestinian people.

The Palestinian people continue to suffer under difficult living conditions caused by policies of displacement, arrests and settlement.

We call for the full implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Plan and its subsequent phase adopted by Security Council Resolution 2803.

This includes the complete withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from Gaza, the assurance of humanitarian aid, access, and the return of the Palestinian Authority to the Gaza Strip.

We affirm that the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the occupied Palestinian territory.

In this regard, we welcome the measures and decisions taken by the United Kingdom, France and several other nations to condemn settlement activities and to impose sanctions against settlers involved in acts of violence and terrorism against Palestinians, as well as banning the import of goods and products originating from the settlements.

The State of Kuwait reiterates that a just, comprehensive and lasting peace in the region remains contingent upon an end to the Israeli occupation of all Arab territories, as well as enabling the Palestinian people to exercise their legitimate and inalienable rights.

It also rests upon the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the borders of June 4th, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Morocco likewise is banging the drum of “settlements”, with its Foreign Minister stating:

… developments in the West Bank are deeply alarming, including the adoption of certain laws that affect the legal status of Palestinian territory and pave the way for their seizure for the purpose of settlement expansion, as well as the systematic violence perpetrated by Israeli settlers against Palestinian citizens.

Britain’s new Prime Minister stated:

Just eight weeks into becoming prime Minister, working with my Foreign secretary, Ed Miliband, I comprehensively reset our position and we built an international coalition of countries to come with us.

The terrorist attack on Israel on the 7th of October 2023 was utterly horrific. I have condemned it in the strongest possible terms. We continue to condemn Hamas, and we stand with Israel in the face of the ongoing threats, including from Iran against Israel and Jewish people around the world.

But this does not justify the Israeli government's actions in Gaza or the West Bank. Far too many people have died, including so many children. Far too little aid is getting in, and it has gone on for far too long. We will not stand by as the horrific suffering continues to grow and the prospect of a two-state solution, the best hope for peace and stability for both nations, comes under attack.

Last month, Israel issued tenders for the construction of the E1 Mega settlement, which would drive a wedge through the West Bank and threaten to put a viable Palestinian state beyond reach. It cannot be allowed to happen.

So we have acted by banning trade in goods with illegal settlements, recognizing that the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territory is unlawful, and sanctioning those taking part in the construction of illegal settlements. We want to see the suffering and death finally come to an end.

We want to see Israeli and Palestinian people living side by side in peace and security, and we will do all we can to keep the hope of that possibility alive. And look, we live in an age of low trust in politics. If we were to continue to talk about the two-state solution, but failed to back those words with deeds, that trust will fall even lower, and our enemies will seek to exploit the alienation that follows from that.

We won't let it happen.

Iceland’s Foreign Minister joined in the attack:

In Gaza, we continue to witness repeated violations of the cease fire and continued suffering among civilians…. The suffering of Palestinian civilians cannot become a background noise.  Children are still being killed families are still losing their homes, and parents are still trying to keep their children alive. Again and again and again. We cannot accept Gaza being repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt, while the underlying cause remains unresolved.

And in the West Bank, illegal settlement activity continues to expand. Palestinian civilians face settler violence too often enabled by impunity, inflammatory rhetoric and permissive policies.

Earlier this month, Iceland joined 11 other states in addressing restrictions on trade in goods from settlements that are illegal under international law.  Our objective remains clear a viable Palestinian state alongside Israel, with both peoples, both peoples, able to live in security, dignity and peace.

Norway, which recently made trade with Israel a criminal offence, was represented by their Foreign Minister. He drew an equivalence between Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and Israel’s attempt to defend itself:

When we condemn Russia's clear violation of international law in Ukraine, it is equally important to speak out of Israel's violations of the same rules in Palestine. International law is only relevant if it's enforced.

There is no alternative to the two-state solution. At this General Assembly, there has been a record number of Palestine-related meetings.  The support for a Palestinian state has never been stronger. Yet the situation on the ground is more dire than ever. We must act now with moral clarity and ensure that the coming year becomes a year of implementation.

Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs continued the Liberal government’s attack on Israel, singing the same song about settlements and enforcing “a trade embargo”:

Self-determination is a right to which both Israelis and Palestinians are entitled.

Canada firmly believes that lasting peace and security can be achieved only through a negotiated two-state solution.

That means a Palestinian state living alongside Israel in peace, security and dignity.

Israel's right to exist is not up for debate, and the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination in a state of their own is also not up for debate.

The two-state solution remains the guiding principle of our Middle East policy, and our actions are calibrated to support this outcome….

Israel's settlements in the West Bank are illegal under international law and an obstacle to peace. That is why Canada announced earlier this month that we intend to restrict trade in goods with illegal Israeli settlements.

France’s President Emmanuel Macron stated Hamas was never very active in the West Bank:  

Sovereignty for Palestinians, their very basic, their most basic rights are once again being violated. One year ago in this very chamber, several dozen states recognized Palestine. I understand that some are very cynical. You recognized it on paper. Look at the reality of the situation. But what is our credibility worth if we remain inactive on Gaza? Some claim that peace has been achieved, but this has not opened up humanitarian deliveries. The spectacle, the spectacle. It is shameful. Shame on all of us.

Look, just look at, look at what's happening in the West Bank where day in, day out we are seeing violations. And in the name of what?

Hamas was never very active in the West Bank. What we need is respect for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, their legitimate right to exist.…

This ridiculous statement came the day after a French Citizen was murdered in the “West Bank” (ie. Judea) by a Hamas terrorist. I24 news reported this same week:

Netanel Shukron, a French-Israeli citizen and father of six, was killed near the N’vei Tzuf spring in the Binyamin area. Israeli officials said the attacker was affiliated with Hamas. Earlier in the month, Israeli security forces announced the arrest of a suspected 10-member Hamas cell accused of planning an attack in the northern Jordan Valley.

Willful ignorance of world leaders is the maxim of the day.

Russia’s Sergey Lavrov, Minister for Foreign Affairs, offered a veiled threat to Israel:

Russia, together with other responsible states, stands ready to constructively contribute to stabilizing this strategically important region.

We stand convinced that it's time to resolve the main issue in the Middle East, ensuring Palestinian statehood on the basis of countless UN decisions.

Almost a year ago, the Security Council approved the peace plan for the Gaza Strip. But peace does not reign there. Older persons, women and children continue to perish. The humanitarian situation is critical. The situation in the West Bank continues to deteriorate, where Israel is stepping up its settlement activities. If the situation continues, it won't be possible to set up a Palestinian state. There won't be any room. But if that were to be the case, Israel's security would also be constantly under threat. Experts understand this full well. The UN and all its member states absolutely need to think outside the box so as to buck these unfavorable trends in the Middle East and nearby areas.

The threat is clear, if there is no Palestinian state, Israel’s security will be constantly under threat.

The Vatican was also invited to speak at the General Assembly, the only religious entity to be afforded the right. It too struck the same tone:

Pope Leo identifies three essential words that must guide diplomacy, peace, justice and truth…

The Holy See reiterates its call for an end to the ongoing violence against the Palestinian civilian population in the West Bank, particularly the escalation of hostilities, home demolitions and movement restrictions driving the displacement of Palestinian communities.

On the situation in Gaza, the Holy See remains concerned about the dire humanitarian crisis. The widespread destruction, mass displacement and the severe persisting shortages. In this regard, it urges the international community to work towards advancing the two-state solution with a view to bringing about a just and lasting peace.

What is missing from the Vatican’s policy is truth. It is completely hypocritical and one-sided. Having remained silent while six million jews perished in the holocaust, it now raises its voice against Israel in defending itself, and champions the rights of the terrorist peoples who have risen up against Israel. The Gaza war began due to terrorist attacks initiated during a time of relative peace.

This is to be expected because the Frog Spirits in Revelation are the teachings that will eventually drive the nations to Armageddon:

“And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.” (Revelation 16:13–14)

The Dragon is Russia, the Beast is Europe, and the False Prophet is the Papacy. It is no surprise that all three are singing out of the same hymnbook. Their joint message of “a two-state solution” will eventually bring the nations down to Israel for the battle of Armageddon, where they will be crushed by Almighty God.

Iran Addresses the UN

When the President of Iran got up to speak, the Israeli delegation was already absent, and only the American delegation got up and left.

Iran joined in the attack on Israel:

Palestine remains an open wound on the conscience of the international community, and Gaza remains a symbol of the failure of international mechanisms to prevent civilian suffering. For decades, resolutions have been adopted, yet occupation and violence have continued. We cannot speak of peace while ignoring Palestine. Lasting peace in West Asia is impossible without justice for Palestine. As long as occupation, aggression, and injustice persist in the world, resistance will continue….

Israel has murdered savagely over 70,000 innocents in Gaza, but Iran, while behind the table of negotiation, was bombed.

Incidentally, the 70,000 innocents include all the Hamas terrorists. He forgets to mention the 72,000 Iranian citizens Iran executed during and after the protests held in 2025-2026.

Iran claims there can be no peace in West Asia without Palestine, as if all the aggression between Iran and Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Yemen were all dependent on Israel?  

Trump Addresses the UN

President Trump spoke before the Iranian President and had this to say:

There is no better example of a danger that was allowed to gather strength at the world's peril than the number one sponsor of terror, the Islamic Republic of Iran. For 51 years, the fanatical Iranian regime has ruled by bloodshed and mass murder, spreading death and carnage and chaos across the entire Middle East and beyond. They were the bully of the Middle East, but they are the bully no more. From the first day I entered the political arena, I've been unwavering. I will never allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon.

Upon taking office last year, I immediately opened negotiations with Iran and offered them full economic cooperation in exchange for ending their nuclear program and support for terror. But they refused. They absolutely refused.   That was a big mistake. Then in Operation Midnight Hammer, the U.S. military obliterated their nuclear program beneath mountains of rubble.

He went on to speak about the negotiation process with Iran, and its rejection of any negotiated settlement. Then he turned his attention to Israel and the October 7^th attack:

In two weeks, we will mark the third anniversary of the October 7th attack in Israel, where terrorists, funded by Iran tortured, mutilated and killed 1,200 very innocent civilians, including dozens of Americans and many babies, babies, little tiny, beautiful babies.

Iran's supreme leader celebrated that massacre and called it a service to humanity. The same regime slaughtered over 72,000 of its citizens this year. Recently, 10,000 were killed for protesting.

Just imagine if such a vile regime wherever empowered to carry out large-scale terror attacks from behind a nuclear shield. This was the reality we had to confront, a reality that far too many preferred to ignore….

After giving Iran every chance for a deal, I took action to ensure that neither the United States nor any nation in this Hall would ever have to face such a nightmare, such a catastrophic problem.

As a result of Operation Epic Fury, all 159 ships of their navy are now lying at the bottom of the sea. Likewise, their air force is gone. Their radar is gone; their anti-aircraft equipment is gone. Their missile and drone manufacturing capacity is almost gone. Their economy is gone.

The only thing that isn't gone is inflation, which is destroying their country and is now well over 300%.

He then discussed some options for how to deal with Iran, which still refuses to surrender to negotiations. He tabled the option of annihilating it completely, but we know this will not happen because the Bible states that Iran will be in with the latter-day confederation, where we read in Ezekiel 38:5:

“Persia (the ancient name of Iran), Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:” (Ezekiel 38:5)

Netanyahu Addresses the UN

Israel’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the UN on Thursday, the day after Iran. The president of the session had to call for order four times because, as Netanyahu rose to speak, 77 delegations absented themselves from the room (over 100 delegates dramatically got up and walked out in protest). Netanyahu stated before his address:

Mr. President. Before I begin, just a quick announcement. “If there are any other moral cowards who haven't yet left this hall, please do so now.” Thank you very much.

Remember, only one delegate got up and walked out during the Iranian president’s address.

This is, in fact, a fulfillment of Bible Prophecy. In the latter days, Israel will be alone. The inspired prophecy of Balaam clearly states:

“For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.” (Numbers 23:9)

The word “alone” is the Hebrew word badad, and means ‘isolation or separation’. It is to be isolated from among the nations. It is not to be “reckoned” Hebrew chashab, meaning to be ‘considered, to be valued, or to be accounted’ or thought to be one of the nations.  

Over 77 national delegations turned their backs on Israel at the United Nations. Some completely vacated the room; others left only single junior diplomats.

Referring to the recent threats upon Israel, and all the rhetoric about it being due to Israel’s presence in Gaza, Judea and Samaria, he pointed out the facts:

Now, this isn't the first time we are faced with a threat of annihilation. On June 5th, 1967, Israel was surrounded by enemies who openly swore to destroy us.

We weren't then in Judea, Samaria, the heart of the historic homeland of the Jewish people. We weren't in Gaza. We weren't on the Golan Heights.  

Oh, and Mr. O'Shara, you should know, the Jews have been on the Golan Heights since the days of Moses. You can read it in the Bible.

No. At that time, on the eve of the Six-Day war in 1967, we weren't in any of these places.  We were in a tiny sliver of land.  We still are. That is equal to about one-third of 1% of the landmass of the entire Arab world.

Yet they accuse Israel, tiny Israel, of colonialism, some colonialism. And who's accusing us? Well, among them are people in Britain and in France. For God's sakes, they invented the term. Their colonies embraced the entire globe.  Colonialism? Give us a break. Another lie.

Yet at the time, on this tiny patch of earth, no West Bank, no Gaza, no Golan Heights, just the very survival of this one and only Jewish state. Because this is what this conflict is about. It's not about territories, it's about the existence of a Jewish state at any boundaries.

And yet at the time, right at that time, we were threatened with annihilation by three Arab armies that were about to invade us.

This is the root of the problem. As the Prime Minister of Israel points out – it isn’t about land — it is about a hatred for God’s people. This was made clear by the October 7^th attacks – and who they targeted – as Netanyahu went on to point out (and as former US President Clinton also acknowledged when speaking at a rally in the US over a year ago):

At no time was this demonstrated more clearly than on October 7th, 2023, the darkest day in Israel's history. On that horrific day, thousands of Palestinians terrorists stormed into Israel from Gaza.

Now, I want you to know there wasn't a single Israeli then in Gaza. Not a civilian, not a soldier, not one. But it didn't matter one bit. The Hamas terrorists committed the worst slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust. They went house to house, shooting Israeli civilians point blank. They did so with fiendish glee, with sadistic joy. They live-streamed as they murdered. And who did they murder? The very Israelis, their neighbours, who gave them jobs, who picked up Palestinian children at the Gaza border and drove them to Israeli hospitals for cancer treatment and then brought them back.

Can you imagine such monstrosity?

These Hamas monsters, they slaughtered Holocaust survivors. They burned babies alive in front of their parents. They beheaded our men. They brutally raped our women, and then they murdered them. Altogether, they slaughtered 1200 Israelis that day.

Netanyahu then spoke of Israel and America’s joint effort to destroy the Iranian proxies that have attacked Israel citizens, and citizens from all over the world. He spoke about the ongoing assault on the Jews of Judea:

The remaining terrorists are desperately trying to regroup. Every day they try to murder our people. And in particular, they try to murder our people in our historic homeland in Judea.   By the way, that's where the word Jew comes from. Judea. That's our land. They try to murder us. Thousands of attempts per year on families, peaceful families driving along the roads. They shoot at pregnant women. They shoot entire families. Of course, none of this is covered in the international press or in social media. None of it.  

 He then turned his attention to the so-called “settler violence”:

But that's what they call settler violence, and the number of casualties a year, maybe two or three in the total time that this is being discussed, maybe 2 or 3 dead compared to the thousands of terrorist attacks against the peaceful settlers, honorable people, law abiding people. What a distortion.

It's an obsession. I hear this discussion here. I mean, leaders of countries seriously talk about that. And they say it with such importance. We can't stand settler violence. You don't know what you're talking about.

And listen, two days ago, two days ago, two days ago. I say this to my colleague Emmanuel Macron.  Two days, three days ago, a French citizen, Netanyu Shukran, a father of six, was gunned down when he visited a spring with his 16-year-old son and a Hamas terrorist in Judea. Samaria comes and fires point blank at him. In the last words he uttered flee, flee, son, save yourself. That was three days ago.

Two days ago, in Judea, Samaria, a reserve officer, a reserve soldier near your leader was mowed down by a Palestinian terrorists. He's fighting for his life now in a Jerusalem hospital. I visited the family right before I boarded the plane to come here. Najjar, a father of four, is the son of Yahia Lider, our brilliant ambassador to the United States.

Netanyahu went on to talk about the threats Israel faced, and how one missile could take out the entire building they were in; two could take out the entire UN complex — yet they faced 1000 missiles.

Netanyahu talked about the war of words – the war for truth:

For three years our brave soldiers have been valiantly fighting a seven front war.  But there's an eighth front to this war. It's the war for truth. It is waged in the world's media and most perniciously in social media. Several foreign countries have spent untold billions to spread lies about my country.

The first to do so was Qatar. Decades ago. It started massively funding American universities and toxic media outlets like Al Jazeera. They did the same in Europe, by the way, and their goal was clear brainwash young minds to hate Israel, hate America, hate the West. This is the same Qatar that hosts the Hamas butchers of October 7^th.

Now the latest country to become a super spreader of anti-Semitic lies is Turkey.

He went on to address the accusation of genocide:

It will take time to vanquish the lies. It will take time for the world to acknowledge what is so plain, to see — that Hamas used Palestinian civilians as human shields, that it used hospitals schools, mosques as terrorists command posts. That is sold much of the food we let into Gaza.

And while Hamas did everything possible to keep Palestinian civilians in harm's way, often at gunpoint, Israel did everything possible to get them out of harm's way. We sent millions of text messages warning civilians to leave combat areas. We made millions of phone calls.  We dropped millions of leaflets.

I want to ask you some questions. What genocidal regime gives a million polio vaccinations to the enemy's population? What genocidal regime enables the distribution of 2 million tons of food into Gaza? That's a ton for every person. Accusing Israel of genocide is the greatest lie of the century.

If you want to know how big a lie, if you want to know how absurd it is, listen to Colonel John Spencer. He is head of urban warfare studies at West Point is considered one of the world's, or perhaps the world's foremost expert on urban warfare. Colonel Spencer has studied every urban war from antiquity to modern times, from ancient Greece, to Mosul, to Gaza. And here's what Colonel Spencer says. “Israel has done more to prevent civilian casualties in war than any other military in history.”  In history. We've taken innumerable steps to protect the civilian population. Is this genocide? Of course not.  It's the opposite of genocide.

Netanyahu concluded with calling out the nations for their hypocrisy:

To the protesters outside, to the hypocritical delegates who left us all, I ask, where were you when the Iranian tyrants butchered and maimed tens of thousands of unarmed Iranian civilians, when they butchered and maimed thousands of their own people? Where were you? Did you organize mass rallies, hunger strikes? Did you protest outside the Iranian mission to the U.N.? Did you speak out, for that matter, for Christians persecuted in Iran and throughout the Middle East? No, no, you didn't do that because you're phony human rights protesters.

And Christians, you know that their numbers are plummeting everywhere in the Middle East, where they're being persecuted and hounded, except one place my country, Israel, where the Christian community is growing, thriving, succeeding.

In fact, you didn't protest when we left Bethlehem. It was controlled by us, it was 80 to 90% Christian, and we gave it to the Palestinian Authority. And today it's 80 to 90% Muslim everyone, the Christians were shoved out. Did you protest that? Did you speak about that? Nothing. Nada. And you said nothing about Iran just now. You said nothing about Iran.

Indeed, the nations of the world don’t get it; they want Israel to be desecrated or accuse it of being “morally impure.” The prophet Micah is clear about this.

“Now also many nations are gathered against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion. But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor. Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.” (Micah 4:11–13)

Eventually, when the nations do come against Israel, God will empower Israel to crush its enemies.

The UN debate continues on Monday, and no doubt the attacks on Israel will as well. It is amazing to see so many nations lift up their voice against the Jewish state — so much of the world’s attention being focused on Israel, and the majority of it in a negative way.

For some nations, there has to be a reset — Canada, Australia, Britain and New Zealand must realign themselves with America to take on their “young lion” role as outlined by Ezekiel in chapter 38:13. Saudi Arabia, Yemen and other of the Gulf states must also fall in line with this.

Combined, they are “Sheba, Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, and all the young lions thereof,” which will protest the latter-day invasion.

We wait to see the outcome of the conflict with Iran, and the ensuing peace and security the Bible predicts.
