The elimination of Hassan Nasrallah could lead into the peace and safety found in Ezekiel 38

Channel 14 celebrates elimination of Nasrallah

That was Israel’s Channel 14 news celebrating the elimination of Hassan Nasrallah — the notorious leader of Hezbollah for over 32 years. Nasrallah along with other members of the terror organization were eliminated in an air strike by the IAF which consisted of 83, 2000 pound bunker busters dropped on the 3 buildings which shielded the organizations headquarters.

The music chosen by Channel 14 quotes the words of Samson: “O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.” (Judges 16:28) The second song which is: “The name is king, God will reign forever and ever”, recognizes the divine authority of God. God continues to work with his people to bring them closer to him — even in the dark days which have followed October 7th and get them ready for the coming of the Prophet Elijah.

Jared Kushner, architect of the Abraham Accords had this to say about the impact the elimination of Nasralllah has on the Middle East:

“September 27th is the most important day in the Middle East since the Abraham Accords breakthrough. I have spent countless hours studying Hezbollah and there is not an expert on earth who thought that what Israel has done to decapitate and degrade them was possible…

This is significant because Iran is now fully exposed. The reason why their nuclear facilities have not been destroyed, despite weak air defense systems, is because Hezbollah has been a loaded gun pointed at Israel. Iran spent the last forty years building this capability as its deterrent…

Iranian leadership is stuck in the old Middle East, while their neighbors in the GCC are sprinting toward the future by investing in their populations and infrastructure. They are becoming dynamic magnets for talent and investment while Iran falls further behind. As the Iranian proxies and threats dissipate, regional security and prosperity will rise for Christians, Muslims and Jews alike…

Israel now finds itself with the threat from Gaza mostly neutralized and the opportunity to neutralize Hezbollah in the north. It’s unfortunate how we got here but maybe there can be a silver lining in the end….

After the brilliant, rapid-fire tactical successes of the pagers, radios, and targeting of leadership, Hezbollah’s massive weapon cache is unguarded and unmanned. Most of Hezbollah fighters are hiding in their tunnels. Anyone still around was not important enough to carry a pager or be invited to a leadership meeting. Iran is reeling, as well, insecure and unsure how deeply its own intelligence has been penetrated. Failing to take full advantage of this opportunity to neutralize the threat is irresponsible…

But today, with the confirmed killing of Nasrallah and at least 16 top commanders eliminated in just nine days, was the first day I started thinking about a Middle East without Iran’s fully loaded arsenal aimed at Israel. So many more positive outcomes are possible.

This is a moment to stand behind the peace-seeking nation of Israel and the large portion of the Lebanese who have been plagued by Hezbollah and who want to return to the times when their country was thriving, and Beirut a cosmopolitan city. The main issue between Lebanon and Israel is Iran; otherwise there is a lot of benefit for the people of both countries from working together.”

The elimination of Nasrallah is an opportunity for the Middle East to be reshaped into the state in which we find it in Ezekiel 38, before the invasion of the Gogian Confederacy: “Thus saith the Lord God; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought: And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,” (Ezekiel 38:10-11) This will be before the final destruction of all the enemies of Israel and the re-establishment of the Kingdom of God. The days and weeks following the elimination of Nasrallah will bring the Middle East closer to the peace and safety found before the return of Christ. The IDF announced last week that through a situational assessment they had determined that Hamas is defeated in Gaza. There is evidence to this in the fact that Hamas has not responded to the pager attacks or elimination of senior members of Hezbollah. According to a Fox News report, the IDF has dismantled 23 of the 24 terror battalions in Gaza. Furthermore, Hamas has not responded at all to the pager attacks, elimination of Nasrallah, or leaders of Hamas.

If Israel is able (with the help of YHVH) to defang Hezbollah, destroy Hamas, continue dealing with the internal terror threats, and the Iranian nuclear threat — we could really see that time of peace and safety which scripture speaks of.

Biden, Macron, Trudeau and others have urged Israel to show restraint and to “deescalate the conflict” — Pope Francis had this to say:  “”What you are telling me—I didn’t quite understand how things have been (evolving, ed.)—but defense must always be proportionate to the attack. When there is something disproportionate, a domineering tendency that goes beyond morality is evident. A country that, with its forces, does these things—I'm talking about any country—that does these things in such a 'superlative' way, these are immoral actions.””

The Catholic Church has tried at every moment to prevent Israel from a Jewish State:

  1. Tried to prevent the establishment of the nation
  2. Attempted to destroy Israel through multiple Arab Wars
  3. Put diplomatic pressure on Israel through Camp David/Oslo Accords
  4. Enflamed terrorism from inside Israel

When the Pope says that the actions of Israel in killing Nasrallah are immoral — this is a religious statement.

The final invasion of Russia and Europe, directed by the Pope on Israel will be on religious grounds — in Revelation 16:13-14 “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.” The Catholic Church is the False Prophet from whose mouth this message which brings all nations against Israel comes. This message will have a false religious aspect to it.

In the readings on Sunday, we read from Ezekiel 25: “For so says the Lord God: Because you clapped your hands, stamped your feet, grew joyous with such absolute contempt about the soil of Israel, for this I am stretching my arm out over you — giving you over as spoil to the nations; I will cut you off from among the peoples, I will make you perish from among the lands, I will decimate you, and you will know that I am the LORD.” (Ezekiel 25:6-7, Koren)

This is how God views those who celebrate the destruction and downfall of His people — and how He will judge them at the return of Christ. Hezbollah celebrated the downfall of God’s people on 7th of October and joined the war against Israel on October 8th.

In providential irony the last words that Hassan Nasrallah may have heard were the words that Netanyahu closed his speech at the United Nations with: “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest” (Joshua 1:9)
