Conservative voices are very much against the ‘Great Reset’ concept. The Thinking Conservative website says:

"It’s not only a Great Reset, it’s a great deception. Replacing Mom and Dad small businesses and private enterprises with big tech and big business. Democracy and free enterprise go out the window and totalitarian government control slides in through the back door. Those behind this game are adamant that there can’t be and never will be a return to normal. That life will never again be what it was prior to COVID. That is why they constantly talk about the new normal."

An opinion piece on Fox Business on January 20 of this year, made this comment about the ‘Great Reset’:

“The whole leftist power agenda has a name: the ‘Great Reset’, which is a repudiation of capitalism and free markets and a grand tilt toward re-empowering the elites and the ruling class.

“The globalists are all for it. So is the pope. Putting America first is to be replaced with globalism.”

That is exactly what the largely Catholic Biden administration has done. Replaced putting America first with globalism. But there is more to it than that. As Fox says, the pope is all for it. That is because the ‘Great Reset’ would implement Catholic Social Doctrine, or Catholic Socialism. The World Economic Forum has an article entitled, "Here’s the pope’s prescription for resetting the global economy in response to COVID-19”. It says,

"In a striking, 43,000-word-long encyclical published last Sunday, the pope put his stamp on efforts to shape what's been termed a Great Reset of the global economy in response to the devastation of COVID-19.”

So the pope is working with the World Economic Forum to shape the “Great Reset”. What we see is the Roman Papacy working with the World Economic Forum, world leaders and business executives to shape and manage the way we live, buy and sell, and the ideals we have. This sounds a lot like Revelation 13:16-17, talking about the Beast of the Earth, which was the Holy Roman Empire and the image of the beast, the  Roman papal states contemporary with the Holy Roman Empire, which were fashioned after the image of the Roman Empire.

"And he causeth all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bond, that there be given them a mark on their right hand, or upon their forehead; and that no man should be able to buy or to sell, save he that hath the mark, even the name of the beast or the number of his name.”

While these frightening European civil and religious organizations are of the past, their character lives on in the Roman Church and the European Union. Their hunger for power and controlling men’s lives. Today the philosophies of Humanism, Post-Modernism, and Catholic social teaching are coming together to create a global structure, that it is thought will bring world peace. Essentially the Catholic Church has caught hold of the spirit or philosophies of the age and wrapped them in a religious package. The Roman Church has always done this. As a child we used to visit Fort St. James in British Columbia. Surrounding the Fort St. James area there is a large native population. There was a Catholic youth camp on the beach of Stuart Lake called Camp Morice. On the beach there was a totem pole with the bishop carved at the top. The camp is still there today, but I’m sure the totem pole is long gone. That would be the now dreaded "cultural appropriation" at its finest. This papal practice can be seen in different cultures all over the world, where the Roman Church has adopted the local religion or philosophy and wrapped it in a papal package.

This envisioned global structure is already being built in the project of the European Union, which entails nations giving up some sovereignty, currency and border controls. The structure they envision was seen by one of the ancient empire builders Nebuchadnezzar. He saw an image whose form was terrible. The Hebrew prophet Daniel told the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar that, “...there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days.” Daniel goes on to tell us that this great image would be "broken to pieces together” by a little stone. If the image is "broken to pieces together”, it must stand together. This image empire is what we are now seeing being erected in the world. The ‘Great Reset’ is an effort to speed on the process of erecting this image empire. After it is erected, it will be "broken to pieces together” by the little stone, which is the Kingdom of God. Daniel says:

"And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.”

This is the real ‘Great Reset’. When, "The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.” (Revelation 11:15) Then there will be true righteousness, justice and peace in the earth. Only then will the problems of this world be solved.

In the meantime, our task is to preach the gospel of the coming Kingdom of God — the restoration of the kingdom again to Israel as a witness against today’s world (Matt. 24:14; Acts 1:6). To preserve the gospel — the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ in our assemblies and to pass this treasure on to our children. This is a formidable task in the hostile environment we find ourselves in and requires all our attention. We must guard this against the philosophies of the age, which often come dressed in a religious costume.

Whenever we see and hear the philosophies and spirits of the age: the worlds lifestyles; humanism — attempting to fix the problems of a sinful world; feminism — women speaking and leading worship; disregarding the word of God — for example, saying it has to be interpreted through an understanding of ancient near east cultures; or, theistic evolution — beware! Stay away from those teachers and separate from them. It is quite astounding how these teachings often come together as a package. The philosophies of the age have gone out to gather the nations of the world to war against the returned Lord Jesus Christ. It is in this context that Jesus says, "Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.” Watching our garments has to do with not being defiled by the “frog spirit" philosophies of this age.

Every day we are being bombarded with the philosophies and filth of the age. Definitely at school, whether elementary, senior, college or university. Some are at work, for example, with “inclusivity training”. We are through the mass media. Anyone on social media who follows “influencers” or engages in discussions with those putting forward the philosophies of the age. School age children are taught relative morality and teaching against the God designed family. They are influenced to experiment with drugs and alcohol, spend time watching immoral films, listening to filthy music and engaging in violent immoral video games. They are introduced to pornography. This world is a terrible place and we need to keep our children away from it.

There is a great reset coming and it is the kingdom of God. "And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life." (Revelation 21:27)

This means that it is time for a great reset in our lives. To rid ourselves of the influences that may be defiling us. To save our children and young people from the philosophies of this age wherever they may be found. To preach the gospel as a witness against this world — a gospel that says this world will be done away with. It is time to reset and be holy because the great reset will soon be upon us.
