Welcome to a special extended edition of the Bible in the News. This week we invite you to view interactive slides and listen to a recorded presentation given by Paul Billington on Wednesday August 13 before a large audience in Brantford, Canada. Consequently there is no printed version available this week. The presentation lasts about an hour and was preceded by a reading of Ezekiel chapter 38.
We ask those who are able, to make copies of the recording and distribute it to those who do not have computer access.
The events of the past week, involving Russian military action in Georgia, are of immense significance, not only for that region, but also for the whole of Europe, the Middle East, and indeed, for the entire world.
